Fixing the CR Touch Error on Creality 3D Printers
Hello everyone,
Recently, I encountered the common CR Touch error. After extensive searching on the internet and trying all the suggested solutions, I unfortunately didn’t achieve any results. Even after purchasing a new sensor, the issue reappeared after some time.
To resolve this, I first examined the sensor’s circuitry, but no faults were detected. This led me to believe that the problem might be technical or mechanical rather than electronic.
To address this issue, I used a small ring (as shown in the pictures) to create a slight gap between the sensor’s nozzle and its base. It seems that the nozzle sticking too closely to the other part caused a vacuum-like effect, which led to the error. By adding this gap with the ring, I was able to fix the issue.
I designed and printed this ring using a 3D printer, and after testing it thoroughly, everything worked perfectly. I’ve prepared this ring for anyone who might need it. I hope this small solution helps others facing the same problem.
Best regards,
DR White
