🛒 Shopping List

• WS2812B RGB LEDs (AliExpress)

• Wemos D1 Mini V3.0.0 (AliExpress)

• Thin wire 30AWG (AliExpress)

• Black filament – Sunlu Black

• Warm white filament – eSUN White‑B

• Solder tin

• Cable from an old computer mouse (Wemos to letter)

• Glue

• 5V USB micro adapter
  

🖨 Printing Instructions

• Print the letter in black or another non‑translucent color.

• Print the cover plates lens.stl and the diffuser in warm white or white (e.g., eSUN White‑B).

• Only print the letter/number and the parts you need.

LED Options

• WS2812B RGB LEDs: diffusers are not required.

• Standard 5mm single‑color LEDs: use the diffusers for a smooth, even light.
  

🛠 Assembly

1. Apply a small amount of glue to the edge of the lens.

2. Press the lens firmly into the letter.

3. If you want to close the back, glue the achterkant.stl cover onto it.

Programming the Wemos
 

Do you find it too difficult to program the wemos? Then use ordinary colored 5mm LEDs with the file "WS2812 to 5 mm led converter.stl"
