This model was originally created for large colllectible coins called ‘Fauna and flóra’ (more about it in the end), but you can appreciate it for your own purpose (any other collectible coins, jewellery or other things you want to store safely).

It has two versions to match your needs. There is only 1 difference: in the version 2 there is double the space as compared to the version 1.

You can add text onto the box if you want. I have uploaded .f3d (for Fusion 360) and .step (for other apps) files of both version, so you can tinker with it. (Btw, feel free to remix the models!) There are both versions without a name (clean) and for practical reasons I added also models with two names: Coins and Jewellery (also for both versions).

Print Instructions:

Warning! Bed dimensions have to be at least 220x210 mm^2

Print settings are the same for both versions.

Print at layer height 0.10 for better detail (mainly because of the locking mechanism), or anything less than 0.30 and use variable layer height and set it to aproximately 0.10 at these places (the automatic setting is useless for this model):

Print only at the orientation as is in the image.

If you have standard bed dimensions, disable the skirt path around the model, as there is no place for it.

NO supports are needed.

It is better to print it with PET-G, but you can print it in PLA normally (I printed it in PLA with no issues).

I recommend printing it in two colours for more visible text (as is in the second image of the model).

For those who are collectors of the Slovak 5€ coins Fauna a Flóra there is a special folder for you. There is the original version with the special name and a dummy model of a coin (it is for those who haven't got all the coins, basically an insert to prevent coins from moving around).
