start rant <
I found a version of this on Thingiverse, but it DOES NOT FIT the R2 megapack boards (despite the title, perhaps there was an earlier R2 run that was differently sized?).
Additionally, there are numerous errors in the vector, which is quite irritating.
Lastly, the 3D printed buttons don't even fit over the buttons on the board, and have WAY too much tolerance relative to the top piece of wood, strange choices.

Also sad: The SVG files on the official github for TakiUdon are corrupt :'(
/> end rant.

So I have set out to create a proper version for this, partly based on the layout of the thingiverse model, but mostly just using some calipers.

This is for the latest MegaPack R2 release (fall 2024); specifically I ordered my board on Nov 18, 2024.

- Also added better 3D printed buttons
- Also added some “hollow standoffs” if you don't have extras for the top, and would rather just use a longer m3 (16-20mm) bolt (like me).

The (16-20mm) m3 bolts OR (12mm) standoffs + shortm3bolts are the only part you should need that isn't printed or lasercut outside of what comes in the original megapack (use the megapack-included phillips screws on the bottom)

I am including a .dxf, .ai, .svg, and lightburn file, they all have the same content.
The lightburn file also has the old non-hex fan grate if you prefer it.

Obviously if you use the lightburn file, change the cut settings for your laser. It is set for an X7 pro 10W diode laser by default.

See here for the fully 3D printed version.
