A small ESP32 NodeMCU driven Christmas tree

Made a small Christmas Tree with a base for an ESP32S NodeMCU - that will run WLED. This connects to your WiFi and you can control the WS2812B LEDs that are connected to it. 

You will need to print 3 parts - I have attached the OpenSCAD source for all 3 so that you can tweak it if you want.

Other than the 3 printed parts, you will need

  1. ESP32S NodeMCU
  2. WS2812B LED strip (commonly known as neopixels) - double check that you are getting the 5V variant and not the 12V.
  3. Micro USB cable for power
  4. Small wires to connect the ESP32 to the LED 
  5. A solder gun or you can optionally buy solderless connectors like this
