Functional 3d printable model of a differential/swing axle unit that is based off of the Steyr-Puch Pinzgauer and functions in the same way. the designer of the Pinzgauer was the son of Hans Ledwinka, who designed the Tatra backbone tube chassis, and the swing axles work in the exact same way as a standard Tatra truck.

This is a fully functional model but was not designed for any high loads or long term use unless you made some major tweaks. This model was more just a way for me to get experience modeling bevel gears and moving parts.

couple of the parts might not be toleranced perfectly for you printer, so you might have to sand down some parts to get them to rotate smoother. If your making this yourself you need to print 2 of quite a few of the parts. all the parts are held together by lengths of filament cut and they act as pins. If you want to see how it all goes together you can take a look at the cad model or just take a look at the pictures, you can choose weather to add the locker or not, or the arm supports or not.
