DeWalt sander planer to WetDryVac to DWV9000 Quick Twist lock adapter

I have a number of DeWalt tools with dust extractor ports on them. 
I recently bought their Wet/Dry vac and was extremely disappointed that the provided hose, does not fit any of the DeWalt tools or even the special Twist Lock adapter that they make specifically for connecting their tools to the dust extractor (yes there is a special purpose tool for that) but it's not what most DIYers (myself included) use in their garage. 

I created this adapter to do just that. Yes you could just make a straight pipe to change the size (There is one available on this site.) but this is a very dynamic connection that could disconnect at the worst moment. Hence I made a proper screw in adapter that it was meant to be!

My adapter screws into the adapter to provide a rigid connection that will not leak and will not fall out while you are doing whatever it is you might be doing with your DeWalt tool. 

NOTE:  This is a reverse thread as on the original adapter. I labeled it to prevent the confusion. 

Print this in PETG. This connection is subject to a lot of movement when you work. PLA will eventually fail and break at layer lines (yes even at 100% fill)

I also modded a much simpler connector earlier that will let you achieve the same connection without using the OEM twist connector.
