I like to send my nieces and nephews annoying gifts and puzzles. This requires eight screws of two different types to be removed to find their cash gift encased in a semi-translucent block, It snaps in half easily, but I wonder how long it will take them to figure that out.
Hardware:
The nuts press fit into the bottom with some help.
For the money block:
It is sized for a US bill to be folded in fourths. Set the walls, top layers, and bottom layers to four. This will make it four layers thick all around with a .4mm nozzle. Add a pause four layers from the top of the model and insert the cash into the block. Resume and the money will be encased in the block. I did mine in translucent PETG.
I included two tops, one with Merry Christmas, and the other blank. I also included the Fusion file so you can customize it to your needs. Use the multi filament method of your choice to paint the different colors.
I printed the box in matte PLA at .20 layer height, 15% infill, with no supports
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
