Magnet Rewinder for "Filament Dry Box with Rollers"

I was looking for a way to rewind the filament in the dry box without opening the box, then I came up with the idea of installing magnets in the roller and that's how this model came out, I'm very satisfied with the result, I've tried different things, but this solution works the fastest.

What you need:

BUY

• N52 - Neodym magnet 10x5mm (1 Magnet for the roller, another one for the magnet pen)

• double sided tape. IT SHOULD BE AS THIN AS POSSIBLE

• 2x “AXLE  - secure pin”

     MAGNET PEN

• 1x “MAGNET PEN - bottom”
• 1x “MAGNET PEN - top"

    SLIDING BASE

• 1x “magnet sliding base” (Split it into parts, and change the color of the arrow, if you want it with the white arrow, otherwise just leave it as it is)

Assembling the axis

Assembling the magnet pen (make sure that the magnet pen magnet and the roller magne repell each other, its better that way, because we dont want friction of the box)

Assembling the magnet sliding base

Get the magnet base and the alignment frame and put some double sided tape on the magnet base. Put the magnet base into the alignment frame and align the bottom left corner of the alignment frame with the corner on the handle of the box

Updates:

08/03/25: Updated the roler base, now it doesnt prevent from opening the box or makes it harder. Added a press fit magnet pen for 2 magnets, and updated the images

22/12/24: Made the sliding base thiner (reduced the height)

16/12/24: Added pins to secure the axle preventing it from moving. Also reduced the bottom height of the sliding base by a bit
