Dry box Filament holder/cover

Credits for the nut to Hollow bolt and nut M6

Description

This cover/holder protects the end of the filament in dry boxes from dust and from going back inside.

It uses an M6 bolt to hold on, you can either use this system Hollow bolt and nut M6 or the classic PC4-M6 (BLACK) + M6 nut.

The hole inside the cover/holder is small enough to firmly hold the 1.75mm filament.

Print instructions

Print the “Filament holder+cover (for M6 Nut).stl” if you want the use it together with an M6 nut.
Print the “Filament holder.stl” if you just want a holder for the filament.

Filament used: DAS Filament - Aurora borealis
Infill: 15% is enough (cover/holder), 100% or many perimeters on the nut.
Thickness: Standard 2 perimeters.
Layer height: 0.15mm on 0.4mm nozzle.
Support: Nope.
