Rougier Tube Lamp Christams Ornament

Many sci fi shows of the 1980's and early 1990's featured lamps made by Roger Rougier out of PVC tubes.  Inspired by his designs I created this miniature version with hexagonal shaped tubes for a bit of prusa flare, easier printing, and better structural integrity.  This comes in 3 parts a top, a bottom and a cap.  the cap is intended to be glued into the top and the top and bottom press together nice and snug with no need for sanding.  

The ornament works best with icicle christmas lights so that you can stick one of the christmas tree lights inside.  Printing in white PLA or transparent petg may give the best results if the intent is to light from within, but I have yet to try other colors or filaments.

These will need to be printed with supports turned on, the bottom should be printed upside down so that the less attractive supported layers face inwards.  Photo taken lit below with a UV flashlight.
