This is a mount for a standard Tap Handle to hang off of a wood 1x3 rail (¾" x2-½"), which is wall mounted with standoffs, or a 1x2 laminated on the back. It is designed to mount with a 3/8"-16 bolt (standard for most tap handles, but I also included M10 and 5/16-18 versions) and leans the tap handle back at an angle of 2 degrees. I have also designed a thumb knob for these bolts, or you can use the bolt I designed if you do not want to buy bolts. I purchased steel bolts on Amazon, but returned them and am using 3D printed bolts instead. The standoff is necessary because the bracket goes around the back of the wood at the top. I made this so I could have a rail mounting system to display my favorite tap handles on the wall. The rail can be a matching wood to your woodwork, for me, red stained cherry, but any wood will do, maple, pine, hemlock, or pre-finished poplar, like in my photo. I also included a version for a 1x4 (¾" x 3-½") if you prefer the rail to be wider.
