This decorative light emits a soft, pleasant glow, casting silhouettes of deer, spruce trees, and other elements as the light shines from below. Simply print the silhouettes of your choice, assemble the pieces, and place a LED light strip in each groove of the base. It's perfect for a table or windowsill.
The decoration is modular, allowing you to connect multiple bases to extend its length. Use the snow and treeline sections to join them together, with half-sections included if you prefer a shorter span. There are also two types of snow and treeline endings, so you can place them at either the start or end.
Each base is 21 cm wide, with start and end slots that are half the width from the edge. This lets you place a longer silhouette over a joint.
Since there may be an "elephant's foot" on the first layer, make sure to trim it before inserting the silhouette in the base. Don’t force it, as it’s just 1 mm thick and could break.
To prevent light from shining through the base, use a high infill percentage during printing. Alternatively, you can glue card stock to the inside to dim the light.
If you'd like to make your own silhouette each tab is 10x10 mm and 1 mm thick. If you're making a wider silhouette with several tabs, there should be a 32 mm space between them.
