Here is my Willys MB or Ford GPW 1:18 scale model.
The Jeep was produced in 1941 by Willys-Overland for the War Department however by the end of 1941 it was apparent that Willys could not meet demand and Ford began making the GPW.
I think I've dialed in my clearances well enough now. Hopefully, they fit well enough now, but let me know if you find any tweaks necessary.
I made my tires out of flexible resin, which worked well for fitting them to the wheels. However, if you aren't using flexible material for your tires, you will have to print them already on the wheels.
I just used some clear plastic that wasn't 3d printed for the windshield and I added a little paint afterwards.
You will need to print the following parts:
-1 Jeep Body
-1 Windshield
-1 Steering Wheel
-2 Front Seats
-1 Rear Seat
-2 Spindle
-4 Axles
-5 Wheels
-5 Tires
-1 Extra Fuel
A little model glue and a file to ensure good fits may be helpful.
The model was made in Solidworks.
