Bird Drinking Bowl

Water bowl for Birds, it contains around 150ml of water, and mounted it on a pole where my bird feeding house is fixed at teh top.

I've created it for a 60mm / 6cm wooden pole. 

The part is composed in two pieces, to permit the bowl cleaning every now and then (you can clean limescale with citric acid or vinegar) and to wash the bowl to clean it from viruses (aviary flu) and bacteria.

The photos are referring to a PETG print, it is lasting more than 1 year.

The base

It has 4 screw mounts, use very small 4x15mm self-tapping wood screws, eventually i suggest a 2mm drill hole before screwing.
Print the base with supports, use a knife and some sandpaper to finish it.

The Bowl

The bowl is inserted into the base by sliding, and there's a hole for an M4 screw to lock all in place. The photo below is after 1 year and it withstanded winds up to 80-90km/h (55mph).

The bowl does not need support to print, eventually it needs a brim.
