This is a remixed design of the PTFE tube clip (original design: PTFE Tube Clip). It has been modified to accommodate a screw and nut for easy mounting. The design is perfect for securing the PTFE filament tube (4mm outer diameter) in place when performing maintenance or moving your 3D printer out of the enclosure. Without this handy clamp, the loose PTFE tube can dangle awkwardly, becoming a nuisance during those tasks.

The clamp is specifically tailored for use with the Original Prusa Enclosure and mounts easily in the top-left corner using an M3x6mm screw and M3 nut (included as spares with the enclosure).

Build Instructions and Print Tips:

Material Selection:
Print this part in a material that withstands higher temperatures, such as PETG or ASA, since it will be used inside a enclosure. The sample was printed using Prusament PETG Jet Black.

Printer Settings:

  • Infill: 15%
  • Perimeters: 2
  • Layer Height: Standard 0.2mm is sufficient.
  • Supports: Not required.
  • Brim: Use a brim if bed adhesion is an issue.

Assembly:

  • Use an M3x6mm screw and M3 nut to secure the clip to the enclosure.
  • Position the clip in the top-left corner of the Prusa Enclosure for optimal usage.

I have added the possibility to mount this PFTE tube clip in an Original Prusa Enclosure with a m3 screw/nut.
