If you don't have a full set in a storage box and just have a few loose ones of these “blade type” drill bits, like I did, these are simple design safety caps that slide over the ends to hide those extremely sharp tips. 4 different sizes 1", 7/8 inch, ¾ inch, ½ inch. They just rest on the end with gravity, they don't snap-on
