This is a replacement part for a Ryobi Pruner, this knob was lost on a tool I purchased second hand and then found out the part was on an 8-month backorder. The Knob is part number 318642001 from Ryobi, this is an original design that fits the pruner, though it's not as durable as the original.
The Ryobi design is flawed because the spacer on the opposite side leaves too few threads exposed for a good connection. It seems like the screw needs to be longer, but the original metal part still had enough strength to hold. With this printed part, that's not the case and I have been through many of these (print them 2 at a time, now). Due to this limitation of the design by Ryobi, you will need to ensure you can print threads VERY accurately and strongly with your configuration.
Required: 100% infill, print with PLA+, PA, or similar for strength Recommended: PA, PACF, etc. or use brass inserts M8 x 1.0 (not the normal M8x1.25 from most kits)
Using brass inserts or nuts to insert, you'd need to remove threads/increase hole size.
