Mass Effect - Thermal Clip

Note: Going through some of my older models so these aren't as polished as my upcoming stuff, but still cool little gadgets! Let me know any changes you want to see and depending on feedback, might revitalize the projects. Due to their age, I have also uploaded the STEP file for modifications!

Project:

I initially designed these clips for a potential cosplay some time ago. Designed with printability in mind, they are easy to print and assemble and just require a spot of super glue for the single connection between the main body and the flanged top.

The core was designed to have 4 rows of red LED strips attached and then soldered together

to a small battery (5v red LED strip + 3.7V LiPo battery would work fine with some connectors).

Everything screws together and tolerances aren't super important here. If your printer can do coarse threads, then you're good.

Revolutionize Your Arsenal with Thermal Clips!

Step into the future of weapon technology with Thermal Clips, the game-changing heat management system adopted as the galactic standard after 2184 CE. Originally pioneered by the infamous Geth, Thermal Clips transform the way modern weapons handle heat, delivering unmatched efficiency and reliability on the battlefield.

Gone are the days of overheating weapons that rendered infinite-ammo systems impractical during prolonged combat. Thermal Clips channel excess heat into replaceable units, allowing for rapid ejection and reloading. This breakthrough not only eliminates downtime but also ensures your weapon stays battle-ready when it matters most.

Proven in the aftermath of the Eden Prime War, this innovative solution became universal by 2185 CE. Trusted by soldiers across the galaxy, Thermal Clips offer a safer, more effective way to maintain peak performance. Reload your weapon, not your worries—choose Thermal Clips and stay cool under fire!
