Quick Exhaust Valve

Perfect control valve for fast pneumatic actuators and accelerators.

I used a modified solenoid valve from a washing machine as the pilot valve but anything should work for example a ball valve.

The insides of the parts needs to be coated with varnish for them to be airtight.

The diaphragm should be flexible everywhere except the middle. Two rubber sheets glued together with a 20 mm diameter plastic or metal disc in between works well. The diaphragm seals more reliably if there is a spring on top.

The two parts are held together with m6 bolts with a gasket in between. The nuts can be melted into the plastic.
