Now you can use that dusty Anet A8 spool holder for any printer without being annoyed at its design.
The Anet A8 kit included an A-frame spool holder. The problem is that the threaded rod that they included causes the spool to wander to one side. This design eliminates the wandering by utilizing spacers and spool specific hub pieces. the result is a free spinning spool holder.
The axel part is intended to use two standard 608 bearings available at various online stores. the bearings are inserted into each end and seat on the shoulders inside the tube.
Assembly is straight forward. Put the supplied 8mm rod through a spacer and hub. Continue with the axel, spool, other hub, and finally the second spacer. The overall length of the assembled parts should be the inside dimension of the Anet spool holder.
Printing requirements are pretty loose; it is necessary that the axel must fit inside the recess on the hubs.
