Festool D27 Suction Hose Holder - Clamp and Permanent Mounts

Got tired of trying to keep the hose off the floor and at hand when I'm working on a project. This lets me keep the hose handy as long as there is a horizontal surface to which I can attach the clamp. The clamp mount versions fit the Irwin Quick Grip Mini Clamp (1/2 inch - 12.7mm bar width).

There are two clamp mount versions: single and double. I designed the double after I got tired of pulling the single version off and reversing it when I needed the hose to be on the other side. The fit is snug on the clamp bar, hence the frustration of switching it over. The single holder makes sense if you always have the hose on the same side when working.

Also included is a screw mount for permanent installation on a bench. (I'm going to use that one eventually.) Holes are sized for #8 (4mm) construction screws. 

All models fit the Festool D27 hose. The D36 hose will not fit.

Printing recommendations

I used some cheap PLA+ from Amazon. I have not been gentle with these and they are holding up well. I think regular PLA will work fine with the settings below.

Models are oriented with the correct face on the build plate. Rotate as needed.

• 0.4 nozzle
• 0.20 or 0.28 layer height (I used 0.28)
• 4 walls
• 5 layers top/bottom
• 40% infill, cubic, adaptive cubic or gyroid
• No supports needed
