This is a printed adapter that make it a bit easier to use the IWISS 322M crimper on 1.5mm CLIK-Mate connectors. This crimper is ~$300 to $500 cheaper than the official crimp tool, putting these terminals within the reach of the hobbyist.

For the 1.5mm size the 1.3mm die size is the correct width. This leaves the crimped insulation section just narrow enough to fit in the housing of the CLIK-Mate connector. However there are several problems with the crimper.

First, the ratchet needs to be disabled. If you crimp until the ratchet releases the terminal will be crushed and broken. Crimping without the ratchet lets you feel when the compression should stop. A bit of tape can be used to hold the ratchet pawl back  as shown in the photos. Also shown is the position of the jaws when the crimp is finished with 24AWG wire. You should feel a distinct increase in resistance.

Then there is the issue with the crimper bending the connector. This print holds the connector in place at the right depth so you have one hand free to feed in the wire. Then the connector is supported throughout the crimping action so it cant become bent. A special geometry is used on the hole corners to get your 0.4mm nozzle printer to make a roughly square hole.

The part snaps onto the 322M and is driven up and down by the central wrist pin. Its easy to take off when you need to use the crimper for something else.

##Printing
I printed this in PETG so it has a bit of flex to make attaching and removing easier without it shattering. Also PETG it a bit more “slippery” than PLA and this part needs to slide. Support is needed in one are but it should remove very easily with Prusa Slicer. Standard 0.2mm layer height and 0.4mm nozzle settings should work fine.
