Enclosure for OHS Authentication Node, R503 Fingerprint Sensor, and RFID Reader

This enclosure is designed to house all the components needed to arm and disarm your Open Home Security (OHS) alarm system using either a fingerprint or an RFID tag. It is specifically tailored for the OHS 1.4 authentication node, a Grow R503 fingerprint sensor, and a PN532 RFID reader.

Design Overview

The enclosure consists of two main parts:

  • Enclosure Body: Holds the authentication node and the RFID PCBs.
  • Lid: Secures the fingerprint scanner.

Assembly Instructions

Mounting the Enclosure Body:
Attach the enclosure body to the wall using wall plugs and screws. Ensure the side with the screw hole is oriented downward.

Installing the PCBs:
Place the two PCBs inside the enclosure body and secure them using screws. The mounting holes are approximately 2.2 mm in diameter.

Fitting the Fingerprint Sensor:
Install the fingerprint sensor into the lid and connect it to the OHS node.

Securing the Lid:
Attach the lid to the enclosure body using a small screw.
