Needed to shove a lot of drives in the V21 so came up with this.
It's up on legs to maintain access to sideways facing SATA plugs on my motherboard. The legs screw into existing holes in the case with some m4 screws and nuts. I had to get rid of the lower screws on the caddies and the thumb grip on the back side because there's not a lot of space to work with.
Printed the caddies out of TPU to try and minimize vibration.
Can shift 120MM fans up top to the rear in the brackets to clear SATA and power connections. With the top fans blowing in and the front fan pulling out, drives stay at 30C even with the tight spacing. I don't think 140mm fans will work with this without deleting the legs. GPU that extends past an mATX motherboard won't fit.
I did 3 walls for the base and solid for the caddies. Print the cage upside down without supports and the caddy lying flat with supports to catch the lower pegs.
Sketchup model attached if you want to mess around with it.
