ONE IOU COIN – A Hexagonal Token of Appreciation

This coin is a fun, tangible way to show your appreciation for someone who helped you out or, to put it simply, say “I Owe You”. This isn't just any plain old boring circular coin, it's a hexagon, because hexagons are the bestagons!

Key Features:

• Hexagonal Design: The coin’s side is 42mm long, and its full height is 69mm (nice)
• Stands Upright: You can easily display it since it's balanced and can stand on its sides.
• Two Versions Included:
  1. Without Back Text: Use the iou-hexa-coin.stl model for a clean look.
  2. With Back Text: Use the iou-hexa-coin-backtext.stl model to personalize it with a name on the back side of it.

How to Customize:

To add your name to the back, open the model in FreeCAD and locate the YourNameString object in the model tree. Edit the String property from the default name ("KYLE") to whatever you like!

P.S. I'm a newbie at 3D modeling, so this method of customization might be clunky and not the best. If you need help customizing the text, please don’t hesitate to message me—I’ll gladly assist you in making it perfect!

Model in the photos was printed in eSun orange PLA+
Print time is about 1h 05m for the plain model and 1h 20m for one with the back text.

Both require about 16g of filament and of course can be scaled down (or up) to preference.
