Make the Prusa CORE One your own! Our new printer is designed with modders in mind.

Since we’re using proper metal almost everywhere, you can easily design all sorts of holders, organizers and shelves, and attach them using magnets to the side panels of the printer. Especially the empty recess on the left side is the ideal space for such projects. This also opens a huge field for all sorts of customizations, mods, and tweaks. We can already see these printers disguised as a Claptrap from Borderlands or maybe reskinned with Star Wars themes…

We're releasing the STEP assembly and STL models of the two side panels, so you can start working on anything you have in mind, even before you have the printer on your desk.

So just to clarify - these panels are not printed, they are made from steel sheet. The idea is you can use the model to easily create 3D models that attach to it.

Of course, our software and firmware are open-source, giving you even more things to play with. And with the GPIO Hackerboard, you can even control custom lights, servos, motors and other electronics on your accessories.

We often cooperate with our community members on new features, and you can become one of them! If you create an interetings mod for the CORE One, don't forget to share it with us.
