I found the lid on the dryer did not give a very good seal and if you pushed down on the top the sides of the lid splay out. So i made this repllacment lid and sidebars which acccomodate a 3mm thick strip of rubber and provide a tight connection.
The handle is just fixed using the original handle screws and I have just stuck the sidebars on with doublesided tape for now as I amy play with the design.
For the rubber insert I used this as I had some in the man drawer and then just cut to size with a craft knife.
