This is done at your own risk as there is of course the possibility of cracking or destroying your lid.
This adapter allows a PC4-M10 PTFE connector to be mounted on the rear top of the Creality Space Pi Plus Dryer, either vertically or horizontally to provide alternate filament exit paths.
The adapter requires a 16mm hole to be drilled in the Space Pi lid, with a centre 20mm below the top of the ventilation hole and 47.5mm (middle of the raised rib as per picture) in from the edge of the lid. This point allows an optimum angle for feed of filament and the adapter fits vertically or horizontally.
I used a step drill at a relatively slow RPM and kept the drill tip lubricated with washing up liquid (Dish soap). In case you need to run a tap through the thread for the PC4-M10 it is M10 x 1.0
I have uploaded two versions of the adapter. One with a 15.8mm diameter plug and the other with 15.6mm diameter. Mine was a snug fit with the 15.8mm and I just used some silicone sealant to fix the adapter in place which so far seems strong enough and gives me the option to change their direction if needed.
I also mounted a couple of PC4-M10 PTFE connectors at the bottom of my dryer by drillig a 10mm hole and then running a M10x1.0 tap through the hole fit the thread on the conenctor. I added a thin rubber washer to act as a gasket. A good position for these holes is with a centre 25mm up from the bottom of the rib.
