I recently decided to add a grow lamp to my plant, but the socket I had was E27, which wasn’t ideal. The original E27 holder was a bit weak, so I designed a new, stronger version: Lamp_Modular_E27_Holder v2.

With a little Tinkercad magic, I modified the lamp support to fit my socket by removing a part and adding a custom hole. For the lamp build, I printed the following:

  • 2x Arm_150_wchannel.stl
  • 1x Arm_90_wchannel.stl
  • 1x Arm_Axis_Changer_v5.stl
  • 1x Lamp_Modular_E27_Holder v2.stl

Then, I used M5x20mm screws to put everything together.

Note: As mentioned in the original remix, the arms print a bit awkwardly around the cable run, but since I didn’t need that part, it worked out just fine.

If you find my design useful or it inspires your next project, feel free to show your support with a coffee or a beer—cheers! 🍻☕
