When converting the V-Minion, make sure that the linear rails run exactly parallel
The tool makes alignment a little easier. 6x2mm round magnets can be used to fix the tool to the rails
It is enough to print the tool once
This is how I aligned it
Inserted both rails and slightly tightened the screws (the rails must still be able to move easily)
Slightly screwed the gantry plate onto both slides (do not tighten)
Place the tool on top of the rails (between the 1st and 2nd screw)
Tighten the screws
Push the tool further down and gradually tighten all the screws
Then place the tool on top of the rails, push the slides with the plate against the tool and carefully tighten the 8 screws
Once you have done that, the slides with the plate should be able to move without resistance (should slide down on their own)
If this is not the case, you must realign
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
