This custom 3D-printed bottom plate is designed specifically for the Rekon 10 Pro frame. It fits below the bottom-most carbon fiber plate, providing a smooth and flat surface for securely bottom-mounting large batteries like the iFlight 8000mAh Fullsend Li-Ion battery. The design eliminates interference from screw caps while introducing an opening at the rear of the quad for an additional battery strap, ensuring a secure and balanced setup.

Required Hardware:
Installation Steps:
- Print the Bottom Plate:
- Use TPU material with 100% infill for strength and flexibility.
- Enable supports for proper printing of overhangs.
- Print the part in the default orientation as set in the STL file.
- Prepare the Frame:
- Remove all bottom screws securing the standoffs on the Rekon 10 Pro.
- Apply the Bottom Plate:
- Align the 3D-printed bottom plate with the frame’s standoff holes.
- Secure the bottom plate using the original screws for all but the two rear standoffs.
- For the two rear standoffs, replace the screws with the 25mm long M3 screws to accommodate the additional bracket thickness at the rear.
- Add a Battery Pad:
- Apply your preferred battery pad to the flat TPU surface for grip.
- Recommended options include UMMAGRIP Universal Super Sticky Battery Pad or 3M Dual Lock Tape.
- Attach Battery Straps:
- Loop one battery strap through the bottom slit already provided by the Rekon 10 Pro frame. Loop another battery strap at the rear using the new battery loop.
Notes:
- Ensure all screws are tightened securely to prevent any movement during flight.
- Apply thread lock to all screws to compensate for the slight additional thickness introduced by the plate, as it may prevent screws from fully tightening.
- Recheck screw tightness after your first flight.
- Refer to the provided installation photos for detailed guidance.
