Description

PDF

It's a backscratcher with two settings - one side for gentle scratching, and one side for manly men who want to remove some skin.  Comes in 3 different lengths for any size printer, but feel free to use the STEP to make your own.  Can be printed in place with no supports and no weak spots due to layer adhesion.

Print Settings

I have used PLA and PETG; both worked fine.  I'm sure ABS would work as well, but such a long, skinny print is going to want to warp quite a bit.

NOTE: You can print this as-is, but there are 2 weak points in the design, where the “handle” shrinks to the “shaft”, and where the “shaft” widens out to the “head”.  I would recommend dropping a modifier cylinder (18mm x 18mm x 30mm) on both of those areas and cranking up the infill for just those areas.  See the photos for more information.

0.4mm Nozzle:
  • Layer Height:  I used 0.24mm for speed, but 0.2 would be fine
  • Top Bottom: 4/4
  • Walls: 4 walls gives plenty of strength
  • Infill: 15% gyroid overall / 60% gyroid for modifiers (see above)
  • No supports
