This case mount is a remix of the popular Rpi3b/b+ case by 0110-M-P. Other mounts I found used less ideal cases, and the mounting method wasn't the strongest. This version has all the great features of the original popular case, with an improved mounting system.

Uses mostly bolts from the spare part bag, except for the bolts to mount the board. The second file for the board half has smaller holes, for using m2.5 screws which fit some boards better. M3 screws can be a tight fit.

The half hexagon on the end of the arm hooks into the hexagonal cut out on the top of the z axis, and the bottom bolts into the pre-existing threaded holes in the Mk3 Frame. There is lots of clearance behind the case, and some clearance in front of the case even with the heads of the bolts sticking out. This should allow for access to the gpio pins if you choose to wire directly to the einsy board, but I have not tested this.

Print instructions

The Lid/Mount (the half that bolts to the frame) requires support from the build plate in order to print the hexagonal part that inserts into the top of the z axis. Everything else can be printed as is.

Required Hardware

-Two m3x10 bolts from spare parts bag to mount the case to the frame. This length will sit flush on the other side of the frame once tightened.

-Four m3x18 bolts from spare parts bag to join the two case halves. This length worked well for me, you would be able to get away with other similar lengths if you don't want to use the spare parts bag from Prusa.

-Four m3x6ish bolts sourced for mounting the board. Length isn't super important, as long as they are short enough due to request, there is a second file with smaller holes for mounting the raspberry pi. These are sized for m2.5 screws, which fit some boards better.
