✨ Biblical accurate angel model ✨
Always wanted to create a model like this and after some testing there are now two versions. Would love to hear what you think of them!

✴ No Glue Version  (Collapsible) βœ΄
πŸ–€ Support free
πŸ–€ Print at 0.15 mm layer height or smaller, 15 % infill (gyroid) worked well for me
πŸ–€ Test prints all done at 100 % - largest ring has a diameter of 20 cm
πŸ–€ All rings rotate and collapse
πŸ–€ No guarantee sizing down will work -  if you still want to try, consider using a smaller nozzle size as well

✴ Glue Version ✴
πŸ–€ Support free
πŸ–€ Print at 0.15 mm layer height or smaller, 15 % infill (gyroid) worked well for me
πŸ–€ Test prints all done at 100 % - largest ring has a diameter of ~20 cm

πŸͺ› How to glue them together
Each ring has 2 grooves to add the glue and the next smaller ring has 2 pins that go into these grooves. Use them for proper orientation. Gluing the rings together otherwise won't work due to the distance between the rings. I used "Kraftprotz Sekundenkleber 3D Druck" - Gorilla Glue and similar will likely work perfectly as well

If you want to get the exact orientation as in the pictures proceed as follows:

  1. Start with the two smallest rings and glue them together at an angle of 60Β°
  2. Add the next bigger ring and also glue it at an 60Β° angle. All three rings should be evenly spaced now!
  3. Add the biggest ring at an 90Β° angle to the second biggest ring to complete the assembly

The Glue Version as a tree topper addition/mounting option available here!

The prints seen in the pictures were done using the Prusa MK4S and eSun in Gold.

The rings of the Glue and No Glue versions rotate a bit differently (as visible in the pictures)

Happy printing! πŸ–€

Note: I get an error message in PrusaSlicer 2.8.1 that the dimensions are defined in meters instead of millimeters. If the same happens to you just click β€œYes”. I will try my best to fix this in updated versions.
