The rails can be mounded below any flat surface and thereby convert the IKEA Trofast basket to a draw.
The rail is divided en two parts, making it easy to print and assembly below a table / desk. To set of rails is required for each draw.
The Lock is can be used to prevent the draw to be pulled to far and thereby fall to the floor.
The stop can be used to limit the maximum insert length for the draw.
Instructions:
I have printed the parts in PETG, but I suppose the rails and the stop can be printed in PLA, ABS or similar as well. I will recommend to print the lock in PETG standing on a side to get the required spring strength.
The rails shall be printed on the flat left or right side. Add support to the interlock ends.
Perimeters: 3
Infill 20-30% (Cubic or whatever you prefer)
Assembly:
You will need some 3-4mm countersunk screws in a suitable length.
First mount the rails with a distance depending on the draw / basket.
Mount the lock with the spring pointing to the front of the desk. Draw should be easy in insert but stopped by the lock if drawn fo far out.
The stop can be used if the draw can be inserted to deeply.
