This custom 3D-printed tray is designed to house the Radiomaster DBR4 receiver in the dead center of the Rekon 10 Pro frame, positioned just below the 30x30 flight stack. The tray fits securely in the battery strap section, maintaining clearance for a bottom battery strap while allowing centralized placement for the DBR4 and proper routing of its four antennas throughout the frame. This setup optimizes space and performance for your FPV build.

Installation Steps:

  1. Position the TPU Mount:
    1. Place the TPU mount on the desired arm of your FPV quadcopter.
    2. Ensure the mount aligns properly and does not interfere with the propellers or other components.
  2. Secure the TPU Mount to the Arm:
    1. Thread two zip ties through the top slits of the TPU mount.
    2. Loop the zip ties around the arm and tighten them to securely fasten the mount in place.
  3. Secure the Antenna to the TPU Mount:
    1. Insert the Radiomaster ELRS T-Style Antenna into the large opening of the TPU mount, keeping it in a vertical orientation with a slight backward tilt for optimal placement.
    2. Loop a third zip tie perpendicular to the first two, passing it through the hole of the mount and around the antenna to secure it firmly in place.
  4. Trim Excess Zip Tie Ends:
    1. Use scissors or a cutting tool to carefully trim the excess ends of all three zip ties.
    2. Ensure no sharp or protruding edges remain that could interfere with your flight.

Notes:

  • This mount was specifically designed for the Rekon 10 Pro frame but may also be compatible with other FPV frames of similar size.
  • Always double-check all zip ties are tight and secure to prevent the mount or antenna from shifting during flight.
  • Ensure the antenna’s orientation remains slightly tilted back but vertical for the best signal performance.  Ideally the tips of the antennas should not touch the carbon fiber frame
