Here's a Power 4 game with spiral pieces that I designed in Fusion 360 (step and f3d files supplied). The base is magnetized to the board.
Tip 1. I suggest you print the tray test piece and a piece to check tolerances and set your supports as you wish. I've set the tolerance to 0.4 mm. For the supports, I used painted supports and forced the angle to 45°.
Tip 2. Pay attention to the direction of the magnets when inserting them while printing the base and game board (add a pause to position them).
To make sure I don't get them wrong, I've made a small mark on the magnets with a permanent felt-tip pen (see picture).
The magnets are 6mm in diameter and 2mm thick (found on Amazon).
Tip 3. When printing the game board, be careful not to put any support in the magnet holes. I suggest a 15% filling
Tip 4. The game base is also printed with supports and filled to 15%.
Tip 5. The set pieces are printed :
- without support
- with 3 perimeters
- and 25% filled
