Battle Axe Full Length Mega XL Mod

This mod reprints just 8 (blue) parts of Sillybutts' amazing Battle Axe to allow it to magazine and fire full length Mega XL darts with no new hardware! It's fully compatible with all normal shells and now MXL and Mega at full length!

I simply extended and modified the necessary parts to fit the darts sticking out of the shell, as seen here:

The magazine extends further forward to fit the whole dart, and has ridges on the back to ensure shells stay aligned and don't let the tips rub. The follower also has that ridge cut out, and I designed 3,4,5,6,7 and can do 1,2 when it drops/if anyone dms me at @vestedclover on discord. 

The chamber is modified to allow the MXL darts to slide up into it while still centering shells for accuracy, as seen below.

The bar tensioner reaches back to the tension bars and so it's the only difference in assembly from the original. If you print MuzzleB in PETG (highly recommended), you can print UNCUT_BarTensioner and flex MuzzleB open to let it in, as seen below.

If you print MuzzleB in PLA (Not recommended) then this chunk needs to be cut out and thus you will print BarTensioner. This makes it significantly weaker but there's no good way around this I could find.

Other than that assembly issue and having to screw in from the inside (see below), It's just a longer frontrail and a squared bottom MuzzleA and that's all 8 modified parts! I'd be happy to discuss the design of this mod with anyone curious. Sillybutts' assembly guide should cover everything else.

I've bashed it around a bit and it holds up with everything at I think 4 walls 20% of creality petg, but the tensioner with the cutouts would need a lot more walls and probably 100%.

Orientation is all original except the bar tensioner due to its new forces, as seen below (no mags)

BTW the 7 round magazine is now so big I had to cut the corners down to 254mm to fit lmao

Loading is slightly different as the rim at the back is now the locating feature, so shells don't go forwards in the magazine. Simply use another hand to hold the previous shell down and slide the next shell in as seen below.

Finally, I also designed modified MuzzleB with sling points below (both, right, left).

The modified .step file for the whole design is also included but silly didn't use the timeline and I did so it's a little messy, sorry. Please let me know any mods you want to this or help you need!

Update 12/27/2024: Added Metric files for the BarTensioningBlock for the metric hardware kit from AKBlasterMod. Metric_UNCUT_BarTensioningBlock and Metric_BarTensioningBlock are the only changed parts and are labeled as such.

The Magazine is longer forward to fit the full-length MXL dart and has ridges to hold the rims so the tips don't rub on the front of the mag. Because this uses standard MXL shells, all normal silly shells still work, with the addition of being able to magazine MXL or mega darts without cutting them.
The MagFollower also has the ridges cut out.
The Chamber is cut so MXL darts can move up into it but all shells still center when pushed into battery. The Tensioner Block is extended to use the original hardware despite the extended magazine, and the MuzzleB and MuzzleA and FrontRail are modified to enable that. All parts not provided here are original.
