I've wanted a handheld PC since I was 12 years old. Never really had a reason, I just wanted one. But in the last few years since I started playing around with Linux, Raspberry Pis, and Oracle Cloud, I've found the need for a portable handheld SSH terminal. When it's slow at work, but oracle is blocked, and I gotta fix my Immich server and don't want to type on my phone, what is a guy to do?!?

I had considered building my own, but it just kept coming up too expensive, too big, too bulky. But I watched Zitao's Discord until there was a release of the devices and jumped on it!

But when I received it, I was scared to take it anywhere for fear of hurting it. Yeah the shell is 3d printable, but still, it was so hard to get one, I wanted it protected. Thankfully Zitao offers the STLs for the body on github so I used that to design this case. I went through several iterations getting the snap joint just right. They were all too fragile, but I finally ended on a pretty robust design. It holds tight, so be careful taking it apart as some of the bits around the ports are fairly thin. But I printed my final test piece in pretty brittle old PLA and it's been fine.
