there will be some small overhangs in the top of the sphere, which don't really impact and are not visible as they are on the inside, however if you'd like you can always enable tree supports only for that center section

in order to assemble, firmly but gently “massage” the connector into the first half until it's locked in position, then you can just push the other half into place, don't use excessive force otherwise there is a risk of cracking at the patterns
