If the two loosely connected idler-swivel halves bother you, this modification is for you.

The original mechanism is brilliantly designed and I don't intend to change that - my modification only improves the connection between the idler-swivel halves to eliminate any visible gap."

I fixed both idler-swivel-R2s so that the clearance occurs only on the pins, not on the entire swivel.

In addition to the printed parts you will need:
Screw m2x10mm or longer.

Printing parameters:

Printing parameters and type of filament as recommended by @Prusa3d for the original idler-swivel-R2.

Assembly:

Screw the prepared screw approximately 4-4.5mm into the 2mm hole in one of the idler-swivel halves. Do not screw it all the way in - it's better to leave about 0.5mm of space between the screw and the bottom of the hole.

Cut off the head of the screw and remove all sharp edges (I used a file for this).

After cutting and leveling, the screw should protrude no more than 4.5mm above the surface of the idler-swivel.

Screw the other half of the idler-swivel onto the prepared fixture.

Tighten until the entire protruding screw is hidden in the other half of the idler-swivel.

Finally, carefully rotate the other half clockwise so that it is parallel to the first half.

Insert the 6x3.1x8 spacer into the appropriate place of the assembled idler-swivel parts - see the picture above.

Push the M3x20rT screw all the way through both the idler-swivel and the 6x3.1x8 spacer.

For the rest of the montage I will quote from @Prusa3d's instructions:

β€œFrom the other side, attach the M3nN nut onto the screw. Hold the nut using the universal wrench and tighten the screw. Tighten just lightly! The spacer must rotate freely.”

Once assembled, the nut-idler-swivel part should look like this:

Note that there is no longer a gap between the idler-swivel halves.

My comments:

Unfortunately, I don't have a Prusa printer with a great Nextruder.

I came up with the idea for the improvement by remixing the Nextruder lever with @nhchiu great project for the HGX gear - ProtoXtruder:
