Inspired by the simplest CR2032 battery holders, this one has a switch box stuck on. The switch I use is 9 mm wide and 14 mm high.
Soldering is required for reliable assembly. I solder wires to the switch, and also solder the actual circuit (like the LED strip in the photo). Battery contacts are freely inserted: the battery holds them in place easily. Electrician's tape can be used if additional insulation or protection is required.
