This design has not be printed and/or tested yet. It's a WIP and i'm sharing it for prototyping hoping that some K1 owners would be interrested in testing and/or contributing to this design.

Update 2024/11/27
The design is built around a dovetailed cinematic with a range of +/- 2mm and a set of screw/spring/nut. If your bed is out of this range, a 1/4th turn of the trapezoidal nut will get it to a closer range by 1.8mm. The markings on each side of the carriage are here to help to minimise the variations
The dovetail probably needs some fine sanding with the [upcoming] tool model provided
To catch the square nut, pause the print at layer 44 and place it in the Z-carriage before proceeding

The Fusion 360 file comes with a set of User Parameters with the most important one being the « dovetail_backlash » parameter. These parameters are here to help with the calibration of your printer using the [upcoming] calibration model provided. Use minor adjustments to prevent abnormal dimensional behaviour of the model as not all the sketches are yet correctly constrained.
Updates coming soon…

The author remixed this model.
Moded with addition of a sliding dovetailed bed plate mount
Adjustable by a set of screw/washer/spring/nut
