Gyroscopic Cup Holder

Gyroscopic cup holder designed to clamp to boats or offroad vehicles and prevent beverages from spilling. The beverage holder is designed to accommodate an average sized can.

The hardware used to assemble the initial prototype were 1/4-20 hex nuts and bolts of varying sizes. I also added space to put ball bearings in (0.25"ID, 0.5"OD, 0.125" thickness).

I think assembly with shoulder bolts and Loctite would be ideal to reduce friction, and prevent threads from tightening further, hindering the gyroscopic action.
