This is a desklight. It is composed of 4 parts :

  • The foot "pied low poly.stl"
  • A small lampshade "lampe shade V3 - low poly - petit.stl"
  • A big lampshade "lampe shade V3 - low poly - grand.stl"
  • An adaptater to mount E14 or E27 light bulb

The 2 lampshades can rotate on the foot, so you are able to direct the light.

I made the part supporting the light bulb socket removable, so anyone can design an adaptator for other light bulb socket. I made the adaptator for e14 and e27 socket size.

Doesn't Matter

**Supports:**

No

Notes:

The foot part is hollow. If your printer can handle 60° slope, you should be able to print the foot part with no support, reducing the print time.
The foot is printed in wood filament with .3mm layer

The 2 lampshades are designed for 0.5mm extrusion width. I printed them at 20% infill. I am pretty sure support may ruin the print of the small line on these parts.
I used a .15 mm layer thickness

The "rondelle" is simple enough, any settings should work.

Post-Printing

Step 1 : Print the parts

Print the foot, the 2 lampshades, figure which size of light bulb you want to use and print the corresponding adaptator.

Step 2 : A bit of assembly

Mount a light bulb socket on the adaptator and put it in the foot

Step 3 : Final assembly

Mount the bigger lampshade on the foot first and then, mount the smaller one.
You are done !!
