Jinx Chompers - Enhanced Version

Introducing my Jinx Chompers!

Quick Note: I shall be reworking the Vents & Prox. Sensors soon. I am not happy with their push-fit design. For now, you can glue them in place or print one and just scaling to fit the print. Will design a click-fit connection but busy with life atm.

Update: Decided not to opt for a paid file. This is my first proper upload! Changed to Simplified and Enhanced Versions. Both available for free. Please give me some feedback on the design :)

Designed with cosplayers in mind.

I created this prop for printability and ease of assembly so that you can have your very own Chomper sitting on your desk or your belt at whatever con you're attending. It was great fun to design and has been a passion project of mine for some time. One that I am quite proud of, actually. I would love your feedback and happy to implement any changes that the community finds necessary.

Enhanced Version Notes:

The Enhanced Version of my Chompers is fully printable and simply lacks some of the modularity of the full version. Here's a breakdown of the differences:

Printing Notes:

• Parts are designed with a 0.2mm tolerance. If your parts are too tight, scale up by 0.5%. Down by 0.5% if too loose but generally should work fine within fair margins.
• Parts are designed for 0.2mm LH in mind but works with 0.15mm too. I haven't tested 0.1mm yet.
• The only part tested for resin printing is the Jaw. I cannot guarantee any of the other parts or connections.
• Supports are needed specifically for the Simplified Version however they are still minimal. I would recommend Tree supports.
• Parts are designed in such a way that the large connections are a permanent joint. Only the top lid is designed to be removable. Be gentle with the pins or you are going to have to reprint them.
• No brim should be needed.

Print Orientation:

There are only a few things to note with this version. The primary one is the orientation of Clamp - Base. One side of the part has a slope.

A Final Note:

These have really been a passion project of mine that has ignited my enthusiasm for complex cosplay design. If you have a part that you think would make an awesome prop, drop me a message and it might make it onto the list to design.
