I printed in PLA, as nothing here is so heavy as to matter, I did replace my spacers (not in the photo) with rubber grommets to absorb shaking (the wyze cams have no motion compensation, even crappy dynamic crop). The magnetic plate mount for the V4 uses a M4 threaded insert.
I am bring the printer to a urologist for the saggy T4 filament guide ;).
I hope I managed to crop out the horrific mess on my workbench (if you are triggered by messy workspaces look away…)
The author remixed this model.
I found the cable drooping was a problem, wire ties meant you either left slack or the cable pulled when moving the arm, and I really like the parametric wire guides as if sized right the cable slides through as needed, and figured well, how about sticking those in the arm. It worked perfectly as you can see in the photo. I also didn't like the box mount of the camera, and since the V4 cam has magnets on the feet of the extendable mount and has a steel mounting plate I mixed that as well so the screw part is the same.
