I designed this box because I have the collection box edition of the game, which is way too big to transport around.

Standard ratio?

You don't need to carry all your cards around in order to play, the official Extended Rulebook recommend an standard ratio of cards where Treasure, Loot and Monster decks are only 100 cards each, the box is flexible enough to carry a lot of character, eternal and room cards (around 50 cards for each), you should be able to fit around 15 soul cards as well if you wish so.

Capacity

This box can hold the following

  • Treasure, Loot and Monster deck: 100 cards each (60mm wide)
  • Player/Eternal items: 40 cards each (25mm wide)
  • 8 Soul cards (9mm)
  • Room deck: 60 cards (35 mm)
  • A 93x66 space divided in a 30mm base and a 30mm tray on top of it for storing coins, counters and dice

Card measurements are based on cards that are sleeved with dragon shield perfect fit reseleable, measuring ~0.5mm each card, you might be able to fit even more cards if your cards are not sleeved!

Printing them standing on the corners

Lid, basktet and the main box can be printed standing on a corner I flattened specifically for this purpose, they can be printed on a 230x230 bed if you rotate them well (tested on Ender 3).

I recommend printing them this way instead of flat in order to achieve a better layer adhesion and preserve the details of the logo while having minimal overhangs in exchange, you might need to manually place supports for the edges comming out of the base to gain a better bed adhesion. Make sure your printer is able to handle these overhang angles, you might want to lower the layer height until you get it right.
