Hi sprig community! This is a sprig case designed by me which serves the purpose of protecting the back components of the console while also giving easy access to them.
For printing the back part I found the best orientation to be the one showcased in the image below just for a better printing of the channels where the lid runs through.

The model should be printed with tree supports.![]()
I managed to create the front part which covers all the LEDs and the buttons. This part can be printed separately and screwed on top of the PCB without changing the back part or needing to print a new one since the screws are long enough. Also for the orientation I choose this to be the best option.

It is best to enable support for the screw holes just to make sure they are printing correctly, it may be tedious to take the supports of but it greatly increases the quality.![]()
I also made the lid slimmer and added some grip to it so that it is easier to take off and made a new design for the back part (This is just for fun, just to showcase the fact that it is customizable and everyone can add patterns or elements or any sort of stuff).

The assembly is pretty straight forward, you need to add to the initial build, with the screws, the case at the outer most layer and the top layer over the PCB. Also the bolts and screws can be added in any direction depending on which way you find easier.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
